I Avoided Kidney Stone Surgery By Coming To Baker Chiropractic and Wellness!

Jessica came to Baker Chiropractic and Wellness for Kidney StonesMy first visit to Baker Chiropractic was on January 26th, 2015. I initially came here for injuries from a motorcycle crash in early December 2014 and the subsequent surgery.

I started to come in for my back and therapy for my clavicle and neck and the surrounding area. I had been getting adjustments and therapy for a few months and then I also started to have kidney stone problems.

It was after a visit to the emergency room that I found out I was experiencing kidney stones. They sent me home from the ER and told me to come back if things got worse or if I had a fever over 101. I went home exhausted and went to sleep and then only a few hours later I woke up sweating. I took my temperature and it was well over 101. So I immediately went back. They were telling me that I needed to have surgery to get it out.

I was finally back to racing and my normal life at that point and I couldn’t imagine having to take even more time out of racing. I talked to Dr. Patrick Baker while I was in the emergency room and decided to not have the surgery. They came in to get me prepped and I told them I was going home.

Dr. Patrick gave me specific “kidney adjustments” and a supplement that helped dissolve the stones so that they could pass. I was scheduled for an Urologist appointment a few days later and they were pressuring me to have the surgery. I started to get mad because they were trying to make me do something that I did not want. I specifically remember telling them “if it makes you feel better then schedule me for the surgery, but I will not show up.”

I trusted Dr. Patrick to help get me through the kidney stones just as he helped me heal through my crash injuries and he did. It’s impossible to know where I would be without the chiropractic care I have received at Baker Chiropractic and Wellness, but I am very glad that I started going when I did.

Having Dr. Patrick help me with my kidney stones saved me from having to go through more surgeries. They took way longer to pass than I would have liked (if I had the option I would have never had them in the first place!), but they passed and I didn’t have to go through any extra misery that the other doctors were trying to do to me.

I am extremely grateful to everyone here for helping me through such tough times.*
