“In March of 2012, I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis or IC.  I had been having problems consistently for 6-8 months.

I did not know what IC was. I just knew that I felt like I had a bladder infection every single day. The medicine the medical doctor prescribed for me causes breathing problems if taken over a period of time. It doesn’t take care of the problem, just the symptoms. I felt miserable most of the time and just wanted to feel better.

The urologist did not explain what interstitial cystitis was, he just said I needed to have a couple of tests done, one of which I would need to be put to sleep. But still gave me no solution to my problem. For me, that was not an option, so I decided to do some research.  In doing so, I discovered that Baker Chiropractic and Wellness treated my condition.

I called Dr. Matt’s office and made an appointment. After meeting with him and beginning my adjustments, I was amazed after the first week. My symptoms had greatly improved.  After the second week, I no longer felt like I had a daily bladder infection.

I have continued to improve in so many ways; my neck, my shoulders, my lower back and my overall health.  I always thought of myself as a healthy person, but I am so much healthier in so many ways since going to Dr. Matt. The adjustments are a big part of what they do, but they teach a holistic approach to life. I never realized how adjustments could improve your overall health. Even though I had been to a chiropractor many times, the results were not the same as with Dr. Matt.

I am so grateful that I found this office and I plan to continue getting adjusted for the rest of my life because it just makes sense if you truly want to be healthy.
