Elease came to us after noticing a small curve in her back. While at our clinic, she mentioned to Dr. Paul she was having some heart problems because of a condition called Tachycardia. After receiving chiropractic adjustments, she is seeing improvements.
Here’s her story as she tells it:
“I began being treated at Baker Chiropractic and Wellness in the early part of July. My initial complaint was about a small curve that I noticed forming in my upper back.
Once I was in the office I was given a diagram of the spine. In this diagram it showed how the spine is connected to everything in the body. I already knew this, but I never really knew about it in depth. Once given the diagram and speaking with Dr. Paul Baker I was educated on how the curve in my spine was affecting my body.
Oddly enough I had been having some small troubles with my heart a few months prior to coming to Dr. Baker. I had not mentioned this to anyone in the office. Once Dr. Baker finished explaining to me what his findings were I asked him if the heart problems I had been experiencing could be coming from the curve in my back. His response to me was “absolutely.”
He explained that the spine is attached to everything in the body, and what I probably had going on was a pinched nerve that lead straight to my heart. This made total sense to me because I had already undergone a series of tests that revealed nothing. I was put on medications that I felt I really shouldn’t be taking being that the doctor really didn’t know what was causing my ailment.
Dr. Baker began my exercises and adjustments immediately. After about 5 visits I have already noticed a change. My heart ailment is not as pronounced anymore. I am able to sleep. I am not as irritable as I had been over the past few months. Going to the chiropractor for this short time has given me faster results than going to the medical doctor for all of those months. I feel like the medication I was given was to treat my symptoms but Dr. Baker is treating and correcting the problem.
I am so glad I made the decision to go to the chiropractor when I did. Dr. Baker is so honest and warm. Once you encounter him you know that he is genuine and that he is determined to help you to the best of his ability. His staff is the same way. By my second visit they all knew me by name. In a place where they see hundreds of patients a day this was impressive. They have always greeted me by name and with a smile. If I have any questions or concerns I have no problems being helped.
